Mária Szalai first studied at the Secondary School of Music in Szombathely and at the faculty of flute and music theory of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Győr. She has been principal flutist of the Savaria Symphony Orchestra since 1986. Ms. Szalai was awarded two times the ‘Orchestral Artist of the Year’ prize (1988, 2002). |

Mihály Lakatos (b. 1969) began his first musical studies in Ungvár. He obtained his diploma at the Academy of Music, Lemberg in 1994. He has been principal oboist of the Savaria Symphony Orchestra since 1995. He has been also teacher at the Secondary School of Music in Szombathely. In 1986 he won first prize at the Oboe Competition in Ukraine. Mihály Lakatos was awarded the ‘Orchestral Artist of the Year’ prize in 1996. |

Áron Kerti (b. 1976) graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Szeged. He obtained his diploma as a teacher in 1998, artist diploma in 2000 at the University of Debrecen. He has been the first clarinettist of the Savaria Symphony Orchestra since 2002. He is also teacher at the Béla Bartók Music School in Szombathely. Áron Kerti was awarded the ‘Orchestral Artist of the Year’ prize in 2004. |

Péter Janzsó studied at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Győr and at the Academy of Music in Vienna with Gábor Janota and Dietmar Zeman. He graduated as teacher for bassoon and chamber music. He attended master classes with Daniele Damiano and John Orford. He has been first bassoonist of the Savaria Symphony Orchestra since 2002. |

Róbert Kovács (b. 1976) obtained his diploma as teacher for horn and chamber music at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Győr. He has been a member of the Savaria Symphony Orchestra since 1996. He is also teacher at the Jenő Ádám Music School in Celldömölk. |
